We also believe that self-esteem is very important for the optimal growth in young children. Our outdoor play, singing, storytime, music and movement and practical life (self-help skills) activities are all geared towards helping our children develop this.
HOMEWORK
We do not believe in giving the children a lot of homework and especially not for children age 4 and below. We try to let our children complete all their work within the specific time in class, if possible. Whenever homework is given, we try to keep it to a minimum. Chinese Class children will have to do a little more because of the difference of approach in the schools they will be going to when they graduate from Kindergarten.
