PLAYGROUP (Age 2-3)

Activities include:

MONTESSORI METHOD

Young children will love and enjoy our learn-through-play programme for this age group.  Learning is fun through activities, games and play.

 

LANGUAGE

- introduction to Phonics

CREATIVITY
– art & craft activities
– playdoh activities

 

 

MOTOR SKILLS
– large motor skills (Outdoor Play)
– fine motor skills (block play, coloring, etc)

-Cognitive development and introduction to numbers

– Montessori Sensorial Activities

We would like to remind parents that the program here is mainly learning through play and fun. Parents should not expect their children to write and read any Reading Schemes at this age.

READINESS (Age 4)

Activities include :

MONTESSORI METHOD:
Children at this age can do more than the 2 and 3 year olds. However, learning is still a lot of fun through activities and multimedia methods.

LANGUAGE
– English and Basic Bahasa Malaysia

(Full-Day children: Basic Mandarin)
– Phonics
– nursery rhymes
– music and movement
– story telling
– dramatic play

CREATIVITY
– art & craft activities
– playdoh activities

MOTOR SKILLS
– large motor skills (Outdoor Play)
– fine motor skills (block play, coloring, etc)

– Start on a Reading Scheme (Individually taught)

KINDERGARTEN/PRESCHOOL(Age 5-6)

Our Kindergarten classes are divided into:

– English Medium (those who are going to the National Primary Schools)
– Chinese Medium (those who are going to the Chinese Medium Schools)

1. ENGLISH MEDIUM

5 year olds : All subjects will be taught in English.  Bahasa Malaysia will be taught as a language.

– Phonics (Montessori Method) Pink and Blue Series
– Maths
– Story Telling
– Music & Movement
– Nursery Rhymes
– Integrated Science(Hands on experiments)
– English
– Reading Scheme (individually taught)
– Art & Crafts
– Bahasa Malaysia
– Outdoor Play
– Computer Class

***ART CLASS (optional  …additional charges/held on Saturdays only)
2. CHINESE MEDIUM

All subjects will be taught in Chinese as the medium of instruction. English and Bahasa Malaysia will be taught as additional languages.

We have the full range of Montessori Apparatus for our children to choose and work on.

All our lessons are graded and increases in difficulty according to their ages.

PRIMARY SCHOOL GROUP (age 7 onwards)

For those who still require our services when their children reach the
age of 7 and above, we have “Primary School Group Care” services.
Our services here include: supervision of homework, teaching them
English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (Chinese school children only) and Maths.
